# Terminology

### First-Order Comments

First-order comments are the direct responses to the asset, such as a YouTube video.

The current in-house rule of thumb is that 50 to 70% of comments are first-order.  Mileage may vary.

### nth-Order Comments

A response to a comment `2n`, or a response to a response `3n`, etc.
