# Aggregate Dashboard

## Main Tab

The Main Tab is intended to provide an easy-to-read snapshot of the comments in the aggregate view.

#### Total Comments in Dataset

Generally self-explanatory, this is the count of the comments available from the data set.

#### Video Count

Also self-explanatory: this is the number of assets (such as videos) in the dataset. See also the [per Video Statistics](#per-video-stats) table.

#### Sentiment Gauge

Same as [Sentiment Gauge](/home/per-video-analysis.md#sentiment-gauge), except this readout is a cumulative score across all assets (like videos) in the dataset.

#### Sentiment Pie

No, this is not some toxic desert, but a pie-chart-style breakdown using our most [common grouping](/home/comment-cat-engine.md#sentiment-grouping).

<figure><img src="/files/AccB8zC9H4ZTSYv5ex4i" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In the center of the pie (ring) is the total number of comments in the dataset. &#x20;

The Sentiment Pie is part of our "Main" landing page effort to deliver the most \`tl;dr\` possible experience on your subscription data.

#### Sentiment Over Time (SOT)

Same as [Sentiment Over Time](/home/per-video-analysis.md#sentiment-over-time-sot), except this readout is a cumulative score across all assets (such as videos) in the dataset.

<figure><img src="/files/ODz2IkxHbGFtlMMitREj" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The aggregate SOT line graph is an important signal for the channel. Consider how the audience reacts to your assets and the relationships among sentiment trends.

The deepest insights come from 30 or more days' worth of data. If this type of aggregate data sounds good, consider the subscription plan.

#### **SOT Subscription benefits**

With a paid subscription, you will unlock the ***raw power*** of aggregate analysis. Indeed, this insight is emblematic of the subscription model and of the CCE's strength.

In aggregate experience, SOT provides insight into sentiment scores over longer periods. &#x20;

This same display is also available for each asset (such as video) in the [Video SOT tab](#video-sot-tab).&#x20;

How to use this type of graph:

* See **when** sentiment changed
* Reveals **spikes, drops, and trend direction**
* Tie sentiment shifts to **specific events, posts, or campaigns**
* Compare **multiple assets’ trajectories** cumulatively or on a per-asset basis
* Shows whether a negative or positive reaction was **short-lived or sustained**
* Exposes patterns a monthly average hides
* Understand **momentum** and reception of the asset

#### Sentiment Bar Chart

Similar to this [Sentiment Bar Chart](/home/per-video-analysis.md#sentiment-bar-chart), but for multiple assets (e.g., videos) over time.

<figure><img src="/files/cFIDuCcX9AfIRiQ6iNbT" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

A sentiment bar chart is helpful as a fast distribution view.

For a longer period, users can see:

* Whether sentiment is mostly **negative/neutral/positive**
* If the period was **polarized** or clustered near neutral
* How an asset’s audience reaction may be **meaningfully different** from another’s
* Understand if volume is coming from a small extreme group or a broad sentiment

Why is it useful:

* Easier to read than raw comments
* Better summary than a single average sentiment score

Framing Suggestions:

* “How was this asset received overall?”
* “Which assets got the most negative vs positive reactions?”
* “Was reaction concentrated in extremes or mostly neutral?”

#### Data Date Range

A simple display card showing the range of the data processed.

<figure><img src="/files/3RXMPTRGDLkSWaheY8dq" alt="" width="212"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Video SOT Tab

The Video Sentiment Over Time (SOT)&#x20;

#### SOT by Asset

Using "per video" SOTs, you can correlate the evolution of your content adoption over a longer period and through multiple assets (e,g, videos).

<figure><img src="/files/TFcDiVW5UTSh0dkD3ykM" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In a subscription, each SOT spans a similar period and enables consistent analysis of sentiment trends across different assets. [See these benefits](#sot-subscription-benefits) for more ideas on how to interpret this graph.

This [Sentiment Over Time](/home/per-video-analysis.md#sentiment-over-time-sot) per video line graph is populated by user selection from the [Per Video Statistics table](#per-video-statistics-table) (below). Simply click on the `Update SOT` row.

<figure><img src="/files/RsbhjfUkblLU8LFubBpf" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Per Video Statistics (table)

The Per Video Statistics Table is sortable and is used to populate the SOT by Asset line graphs (see above). &#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/5uixdRmm1f5Bp5AZtRM2" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Using the table to switch between line graphs lets you see how sentiment and reception vary across the assets in the data set.

## Comments List Tab

The comments list tab displays a sortable table of the [first-order](/home/terminology.md#first-order-comments) comments for your asset.

<figure><img src="/files/qzjpMaY2UHXfVsDItuAq" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Global Scatter Plot

The Global Scatter Plot tab allows drill-through to comments using filters. In short, this tool is critical for finding comments not on the fringe and representative of your audience.

#### Aggregate Scatterplot

The Aggregate Scatterplot is all of the comments for all of the assets (e.g. videos) in the dataset.

> Note: Only 2000 dots can be on the scatter plot at any time.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/H4zM1VEPFJ0DQx9qHmXf" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Via the provided filter, likes, [nth-order comments](/home/terminology.md#nth-order-comments), date, and sentiment can be filtered to reveal the perfect dataset. At anytime click on a plot (dot) to reveal the contents and details of the comment and a link to take you to that comment directly.

#### Selected Comment Detail

This card shows the results of any plot (dot) clicked on in the Aggregate Scatterplot. Included in the detail card are basic information about the comment, including the text, like count, reply count, datetime, and a link to the comment (when possible).

## Like & Comment Drill Tab

The Like & Comment Drilldown is similar to the [per-video drilldown](/home/per-video-analysis.md), except that this view aggregates all videos in the dataset's timeframe.

#### Scatter: Comment > n

The Scatter: Comment > n output plots all of the comments with child comments greater than the selection for the dropdown.

<figure><img src="/files/AbJW2aypGQDYxyMJCQrx" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Visually spot the comments worth investigating first.

* Show **outliers** immediately
* Helps find **high-engagement comments fast**
* Easy to compare **sentiment vs engagement**
* Reveals whether strong sentiment is actually getting **attention**
* Click the most interesting points instead of scanning a long table
* Great for finding comments with **lots of replies**
* Natural path from **summary → specific comment detail**

#### Selected Comment Detail

Details result from the selected plot (dot) of the Scatter: Comment > n results.

<figure><img src="/files/q2lXFrDAVwAhUXHviOqZ" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Scatter: Like count > n

The Scatter: Like > n output plots all of the comments with likes greater than the selection for the dropdown.

## User Drilldown Tab

The User Drilldown tab is one of the most insightful outputs we produce. This tab shows all users who repeatedly comment on your content. **Some of the most important comments come from loyal followers; this is a secret weapon.**

#### Multi-comment List with Sentiment Bins

This table lists all authors who commented more than once. Sort along any column and click on the author name to populate the detail card below.

<figure><img src="/files/bzCGo3B0TuKAVTMWkQSp" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Benefits**

* Identifies the **most engaged** repeat commenters
* **Separate** casual viewers from true community members
* Reveals who is consistently **driving the conversation**
* **Spot loyal fans**, advocates, and superfans for conversion, acknowledgement, and validation
* Help **uncover recurring praise**, complaints, and requests
* Shows which followers may be **shaping sentiment** in the comment section
* **Prioritize who to respond to** for community building
* **Surfaces potential ambassadors**, creators, or problem accounts
* **Context behind high comment volume**: support, debate, spam, or dissatisfaction
* Understand whether heavy commenters are **improving or hurting discussion** quality
* Makes **moderation more targeted**
* **Connect comment behavior** to content strategy
* Give a path from aggregate metrics to the **actual audience voice**

#### Drill Through Results

This table contains the results for an author selected in the Multi-comment List with Sentiment Bins card.&#x20;

Key fields:

* Text: The comment text
* Comment Link: Takes you to the comment (when possible)
* Sentiment score for the comment
* Link to the author's videos (channel)&#x20;
